The Irregular Giving Project and the Future of Face-to-Face (ON DEMAND)

The Irregular Giving Project was launched in April 2020 in response to widely held concerns regarding the effectiveness and sustainability of face-to-face fundraising in Australia and New Zealand.  The suspension of face-to-face fundraising during the Covid-19 crisis provided a unique opportunity to reassess and reimagine.

The Irregular Giving Project is a think-tank of over 130 stakeholders representing charities, suppliers and consultants throughout the sector. Collectively, we are committed to understanding the systemic and symptomatic problems impacting face-to-face fundraising and, more importantly, identifying practical, long-term solutions.

We have already identified several key lessons through ongoing engagement with our member base. We have also established working groups to investigate main areas of interest, including:
* Business and billing models
* Donor data and retention
* Donor stewardship and retention
* The fundraiser experience
* Lessons from overseas
* Senior Stakeholder engagement

This presentation will provide an overview of the key findings and practical application of solutions identified by The Irregular Giving Project throughout 2020 and beyond.
