Facebook Fundraising has changed the landscape of fundraising in Australia in the last few years, and with it brought both benefits and challenges for not-for-profits to overcome. In this session, you will learn how Cure Brain Cancer Foundation have developed tools and tricks to make Facebook Fundraising work for their organisation and its passionate supporters. 

With Celeste Barber’s $50million Facebook Fundraising campaign highlighting the importance of transparency around where donor’s money is going and how long it takes for organisations to receive the funds, we need to have the conversation as to how we, as not-for-profits, can work through these challenges and find a way to gain maximum benefit from Facebook Fundraising. 

This session will look at the good, the bad and the ugly of Facebook Fundraising, and how this changing landscape can still bring in dollars despite these clear challenges.

Session Grading: Beginner Fundraisers (less than 2 years experience) / Intermediate (2-7 years experience)
