Kerrie is currently General Manager, Foundation and Community at Hawthorn Football Club and has over 20 years’ experience within the AFL sporting landscape previously working at both Collingwood and North Melbourne Football Clubs.
Kerrie is currently responsible for raising in excess of $60M in philanthropic and government funding for the club’s new facility development, the Kennedy Community Centre. A key strategist and innovator within the club, Kerrie has also built a community team that is now delivering direct impact and outcomes for the community, with genuine partnerships and programs, in the pillars of mental health, social inclusion and Indigenous engagement.
Kerrie draws from her strong commercial background to help drive the sourcing of philanthropic and grant funding for Hawthorn’s Foundation and community programs, ensuring they are sustainable and demonstrate engagement, retention and growth over time. Supporting her approach to strong governance is her ability to build long-lasting and genuine relationships with all donors, partners and all three levels of Government.
